Leadership Group and Falcon Friends Orientation

Please click on the link to the left to view our Leadership Group. On the weekend of August 26 and 27 the sophomore Leadership group met at Bill Bone's cabin for a retreat and orientation. One of the main purposes of the Leadership group is to expose students to all facets of the community. The Hickman County/Clinton Chamber of Commerce envisions establishing an annual personal leadership class that would graduate indiviudals, who have learned new skills, received leadership training and studied community problems. As the year progress more pictures will be added.

Falcon Friends is a mentoring program that students had to make application telling why they wanted to be a mentor. Only 18 students are selected by a commitee that reviews the applications.  If you will click to the left on Falcon Friends pictures you will see our first meeting of the year where they had an orientation and then  selected his/her elementary student to mentor for the school year.

Welcome Back to Hickman County Schools

Welcome back to a great new school year. Opening Day for faculty and staff will be Thursday, August 4th. We will have breakfast in the high school cafteria and many businesses in our community participate this day. They decorate tables with a theme of their choice and also come the morning of the breakfast to serve the table and to enjoy our breakfast.

Hickman County is a wonderful commuity with many caring people and the business partners are excellent to work with.
